Let’s be honest, planning surprises aren’t easy - especially when you get way too excited and want to share it ahead of time So when it came to planning Lenny’s 30th I knew I had to be on my best behaviour.

When looking for a place I had a few requirements: It had to be one of a kind, have an outdoor bath, fire pit and most importantly immersed in nature... so after searching far and wide, Riparide delivered the goods with the most magical 1890s restored train carriage.

The carriage is set on over 270 acres of farm and bushland, and tucked away amongst the Scribbly gums, neighbouring a paddock of the most majestic highland cows.

Inside the carriage, you’ll find original timber floors, Juliette balconies, a vintage cooktop and fireplace, and the lushest master bedroom. From the monogrammed bathrobes to the welcome basket of fresh local produce... the Redleaf carriage is nothing short of magical.

Along with their beautiful farm stay, owners Sam and Katrina run a working farm, focused on sustainable agriculture and ethical farming. Lucky for us, we were able to join one of their weekly farm tours and met the cutest sheep, highland cows, alpacas, horses, pigs and even a few peacocks.
